Frequently Asked Questions
The WASSER gravity-fed water filter system features an upper and lower chamber. Filters are placed in the upper chamber, where water is poured in. Gravity draws the water through the WASSER filters into the lower chamber. Clean drinking water is dispensed via a spigot at the base of the lower chamber.
WASSER filters operate by absorbing and trapping contaminant molecules. The carbon attracts and holds molecules with specific chemical charges, much like a magnet attracts metal. The carbon block's microscopic pores are so fine that they physically block and trap even the smallest particles, functioning similarly to a sieve or strainer.

We recommend cleaning the stainless-steel chambers and spigot monthly. Scrub the filters every 3-6 months or when you notice a slower flow rate.
Cleaning Instructions:
Remove Filters: Take out the filters and place them in a safe spot to prevent damage.
Wash Chambers: Clean the chambers, parts, and pieces by hand using warm water and mild dish soap. Alternatively, place the stainless steel chambers in the dishwasher.
Optional Spigot Removal: If necessary, detach the spigot from the lower chamber for cleaning. Do not use soap on the filters.
